RSI Wins the Georgia Department of Revenue Tax Compliance Data Warehouse Project

(RSI), a company that specializes in providing revenue and compliance management products and services specifically to federal, state and local government revenue agencies, is pleased to announce the recently signed contract with the Georgia Department of Revenue (GA DOR), who selected RSI’s DiscoverTax® system for their Data Warehouse initiative.
In an effort to improve revenue collections, project future trends, and increase organizational efficiencies, the Georgia Department of Revenue sought, through a competitive procurement, the implementation of a comprehensive Tax Compliance Data Warehouse solution, including exploratory queries and business intelligence tools.
GA DOR selected RSI’s DiscoverTax®, a “revenue-ready” agency data warehouse, as the core of their Tax Compliance Data Warehouse solution. RSI’s scope of work is being performed in multiple phases, concentrating on a comprehensive set of Compliance Management programs. The first year of the project implementation will focus on:
- installation of the hardware and software infrastructure and services to configure and customize the solution;
- internal and external data loading, including 5 data sources (DOR Demographic & Financial Data, SOS, DOL, BMF/BRTF and a Commercial Data Source); and,
- implementation of a comprehensive core set of business non-registrant compliance programs.
RSI’s proposed solution of compliance programs will span a period of three years from initial implementation through to completion.
