RSI Awarded Maine Revenue Services – Audit Software Package Contract
August 10, 2007. Pembroke, MA – Revenue Solutions, Inc. (RSI), a company that specializes in providing revenue and compliance management products and services specifically to federal, state and local government revenue agencies, is pleased to announce a recently signed a contract with the Maine Revenue Services (MRS) for their Audit Software Package Project.
The MRS Audit Software Package Project represents another strategic partnership between the MRS and RSI to provide TaxMaster® licenses and implementation services to over sixty MRS field auditors to support (initial scope) three of the State’s largest taxes: Corporate Income, Personal Income and Sales Tax. The Project includes three distinct releases over a currently scheduled four-month duration with options for additional system enhancements and software (e.g., centralized audit case management via Audit Workbench) for the MRS.
TaxMaster® is an integrated suite of tools that enhance auditors’ capabilities, both in the field and in the office, by facilitating the efficient conduct and completion of audits in less time and with fewer errors. This contract marks the fifth state that will be using RSI’s TaxMaster® product and pushes the number of registered TaxMaster® users to nearly 1,100. The Project will officially start in the next several weeks.
