Revenue Solutions, Inc. Acquires JCENT’s TaxMaster®
March 10, 2006. Pembroke , MA – Revenue Solutions, Inc. (RSI), a government consulting and software company, today announced that it has purchased JCENT’s TaxMaster® software product. JCENT, located in Marion, South Carolina, is a software provider to state and county governments in the southeast. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
TaxMaster® is an integrated environment for conducting state and local tax audits. It combines the features of a spreadsheet, database, word processor and report generator into one tool, increasing an auditor’s efficiency. TaxMaster® is a complete custom application, engineered from the ground up, with the auditor in mind.
“This acquisition extends the DiscoverTax® product, enabling agencies to select audit candidates, download the case information to a field auditor’s laptop and support the actual audit preparation,” said Mark Havens, President of RSI. “With TaxMaster®, RSI now offers a complete, integrated compliance management solution from data analysis and detection to assessment. We are very excited about bringing this outstanding product to our customers.”
Support for TaxMaster’s® current licensed customers will remain unchanged as the current channels will remain intact. The TaxMaster® product will be integrated into RSI’s overall operations over the next several months.
